Hello!

My name is Marcy Jouppi and I am the Principal of BedfordElementary. I have been married for over 25 years and am the proud mom of two, successful grown-children. My daughter is finishing her last year at U of M and getting ready for Grad School! My son is a soldier in the U.S. Army, stationed in Texas. I have over 16 years of experience in the educational field and I love what I do! My background is in special education, specializing in teaching students with emotional impairments and learning disabilities. My goal as a Principal is to raise students who are compassionate, responsible, confident, and lifelong-learners. I take pride in providing a warm, inviting, and nurturing atmosphere for my students and their families. And while I may be a Bedford Bear, I hold a special place in my heart for hippos!
