Amazing author!

We had the most amazing guest speaker today! Mr. Wilson wrote the children's book, Teach Me About Garvey. We learned all about the accomplishments and ways Marcus Garvey inspired future African Americans to strive for equal rights. Mr. Wilson flew all the way from GEORGIA for US today and shared his book with our 2nd through 5th grades and had a Q & A with the students. They loved him! What an amazing author and an inspiration for our students.
