Next week is Mid-Winter Break! There is NO SCHOOL on Monday 2/21 and Tuesday 2/22 AND NOW it is a VIRTUAL half-day on Wednesday 2/23. Students will be bringing their Chromebooks home this week so they have them for Wednesday. Thursday and Friday (2/24-2/25) will be in person.

We had the most amazing guest speaker today! Mr. Wilson wrote the children's book, Teach Me About Garvey. We learned all about the accomplishments and ways Marcus Garvey inspired future African Americans to strive for equal rights. Mr. Wilson flew all the way from GEORGIA for US today and shared his book with our 2nd through 5th grades and had a Q & A with the students. They loved him! What an amazing author and an inspiration for our students. If you are interested in a copy of his book, I have a few in the main office for sale ($15) or you can scan this QR code and purchase it directly.

Thank you Bedford Families! Your children are loving the Book Fair! We've had great sales so far and still have 3 more days of shopping time left (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Remember, there is the new E-wallet option if you don't want to send in cash.
