Bedford Building Profile
Bedford Elementary School serves approximately 400 students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade. There are 17 classroom teachers as well as gym, music, art, media teachers. In addition, there are several professional support staff members: a school psychologist, school social worker, school counselor, Title I teacher / reading consultant, speech and language therapist, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and teacher aids. To assist in helping teachers and students, keeping the school clean, and serving nutritious foods are: the building secretary, numerous Bedford volunteers, four custodians, and the lunchroom personnel.
 
Bell Schedule
The following is a break down of our bell schedule for each day. Please emphasize with your child that they should not arrive at school before 8:10 a.m. The staff is involved in planning and meeting and is unable to provide supervision of students arriving earlier than necessary. The school day begins at 8:15 with the first bell. At 8:20 a.m. the tardy bell rings and all children should be in their rooms, ready for class to begin. Students that arrive after the tardy bell must report to the office before going to class.
